Questions

Where does the citation data come from?

From the scholarly record: OpenAlex, Semantic Scholar, Crossref and arXiv, merged by DOI. Titles, authors, volume, issue and pages are copied from the source metadata, so the reference matches what the publisher registered.

How do I convert a DOI to BibTeX?

Paste the DOI above and press Cite. The paper page lists the BibTeX entry with a copy button, next to RIS for Zotero, Mendeley and EndNote.

Can it cite an arXiv preprint or a PubMed article?

Yes. Paste an arXiv ID such as 1706.03762, a PubMed ID, or a link to the article on doi.org, arxiv.org or pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov.

Can I build a whole bibliography at once?

Yes, from Claude or ChatGPT with the Find Research connector: ask it to turn a list of papers, DOIs or rough references into a reference list in your style. References that match no real paper are listed apart instead of being invented.

Citations straight from your assistant

Claude and ChatGPT sometimes invent references. With Find Research connected, they search OpenAlex, Semantic Scholar, Crossref and arXiv instead and cite only papers that exist, with DOIs and legal free PDFs. Set it up in a minute.
